KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. Renewable Energy (EBT) sector issuer PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) announced its performance for the first half of 2025 (1H25), recording operating revenue of Rp 142.5 billion, an increase of 42.1% YoY compared to the same period last year.
This revenue growth, according to management, was supported by enhanced human resource capabilities at each site, enabling more effective and efficient electricity production.
The revenue increase aligns with a 20% YoY rise in net profit to Rp 36.9 billion, with a net profit margin of 25.9% for the first half of 2025.
The Company also recorded total assets of Rp1,495.2 billion, growing by 19.7% YoY, supported by the Company's cash growth of 83.1% YoY.
Additionally, the Company reported an increase in total liabilities to Rp1.006.9 billion, up 27% YoY, and total equity grew slightly by 6.9% YoY to Rp488.3 billion during the first half of 2025.
In terms of performance, during the first half of 2025, Arkora produced 74.3 GWh of electricity from the Cikopo, Tomasa, and Yaentu hydroelectric power plant projects.
This electricity production increased by 48.9% YoY, supported by the Yaentu project, which recently began operations in the fourth quarter of 2024.
Arkora's Investor Relations Manager, Nico Yosafat, stated that in the first half of 2025, Arkora has accelerated the construction progress of power plant projects, namely the Kukusan II Project (5.4 MW) in Lampung and the Tomoni Project (10 MW) in South Sulawesi.
"The progress of these two projects has reached 83.2% and 32.9%, respectively, in the first half of 2025. With an increasing number of operational projects, the Company will be able to reduce emissions by approximately 99,937 tons of CO?eq per year once the aforementioned projects begin operations," he explained in a written statement received by Kontan on Saturday (August 2).
As a result, ARKO is expected to directly contribute to environmental sustainability and support the government's program to achieve Net Zero Emissions by 2060.
The Company's President Director, Aldo Artoko, stated that as the number of power plant projects successfully developed by the Company increases, cash flow from PLN as the off-taker is also expected to rise.
“With more power plant projects completed, we are optimistic that we can continue to fulfill our commitment to illuminate Indonesia with clean energy and operate our business sustainably,” said Aldo.
Going forward, the Company is committed to maintaining healthy financial performance growth while expanding its power generation capacity, which has now reached 261.2 MW in the project pipeline.
