Aldo’s exposure to infrastructure projects began early in his life, coming from a family that owns a medium to large civil construction company specializing in toll roads, dams, ports, and airports across Indonesia. His father, Djohan Teguh, often took him on site visits from age 8, giving him firsthand experience of heavy machinery and site leadership.

Aldo graduated from the University of New South Wales, Australia, with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering. He then worked at Parsons Brinckerhoff, US based engineering consultancy firm, in Sydney, involved in major projects like the Sydney CBD Tunnel, Sydney Metro, and gas power plants, gaining extensive experience in project management and engineering.

Seeing Indonesia’s reliance on diesel power costing over IDR100 trillion in 2008, Aldo founded Arkora Hydro in 2009 to accelerate renewable energy development through run-of-river hydropower, aiming to diversify Indonesia’s energy mix and promote sustainable growth.

He joined Arkora Hydro in 2014. He graduated from University of Minnesota (USA) with a degree in chemical engineering and a degree in chemistry.  He previously worked in Nugraha Siti Kumala, an Indonesian company that distribute bearings and mechanical parts for various industries, including power plants.  Prior to Nugraha Siti Kumala, he worked in KC Pharmaceuticals, an American private label manufacture for eye drops. Prior to that, he worked in 3M company (Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing) in the United States. 3M is an American multinational corporation operating in various fields of industries. He worked in the electrical and insulating materials division. With various roles in research and engineering, he has gained a lot of experience in process engineering, plant optimization and efficiency.

Ismu Nugroho graduated from Diponegoro University with a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering and Diploma of Highway Engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology.  He joined Arkora Hydro in 2009. Prior to joining Arkora Hydro, he spent more than 20 years in PLN (Indonesian State-Owned Utility Company) with his last role as deputy engineering manager of hydro and diesel generation. During his time in PLN, he completed over 32 in hydro power projects with his involvement in various stages from location finding, basic design to detail design stages, construction supervision and also refurbishment and generation capacity upgrade stage. With over 32 years of experience, he is truly recognized as an expert in his field.

Boy Gemino Kalauserang completed his education at the Faculty of Law, Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta in 1996 and is a Licensed Advocate at the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI) since 2010. He joined Arkora Hydro in 2022. Prior to joining Arkora Hydro, he started his career with Astra in 1996 in the United Tractors group. And currently holds the position of Group Legal Advisor of Pamapersada Nusantara Group, President Director of PT Unitra Nusantara Persada, Director of PT Bhumi Jati Power, Director of PT Energia Prima Nusantara, Director of PT Unitra Persada Energia, Commissioner of PT Iltabhi Energia Tenagahidro, Commissioner of PT Redelong Hydro Energy and Commissioner of PT Uway Energi Perdana. In addition, he also serves as Public Policy and Regulatory Head at the Indonesian Mining Services Association (ASPINDO).
